Evolutionists and Creationists by Supyloco Evolutionists and Creationists by Supyloco
What does that mean? Well for one the bible speaks of man originating from two people which would trump racist logic. How can we be different if we come from the same people. The only difference is skin color. This is where evolution comes in. Why do you think we look different? Because as man spread they adapted to the environment they lived on. So man doesn't look different for nothing. It's because some adapted to heat and others to cold and as you may have seen once in your lives. Have you noticed how your skin color changes when you're in hot areas? Also another fact that people overlook. We can fuck each other and have kids. If race was really something relevant scientifically? Then how come I exist? I come from a mixed ancestry. It's only skin color that makes us different.

But racism IS natural. Just because we can breed with each other doesn't mean it's unnatural to dislike that which is different. Also the Bible has multiple passages about killing other ethnicities simply for being different. The KKK and other such groups use these passages to justify their racism.

Let's take lions for example, another pack animal. Lions prides are horrible to each other and compete heavily. Sure, they all seem alike and they can definitely breed with each other if they wished, but they don't. Anyone who has raised lions can tell you there are subtle differences between prides, and these differences can be comparable to the differences between humans.
Racism has its roots in competition. We see people different from us as inferior because they are our competitors and we want to rise above them and have all the resources. This is just natural pack animal behaviour, survival instinct.

Babies have been found to be racist, and really a lot of -ists. Like, for example, babies are also ableist*. Anyway, an infant relies heavily on the familiarity of its pack, its family. As such, it will prefer to be around people that look like it. That's their "pack".
*They prefer to be around people who appear healthy and pretty and will favour them heavily. Some babies will even trade up their own mothers for females that appear "better".

The question shouldn't be about whether racism is natural. It's about whether it's right. Arguing about things on the basis of naturality is completely stupid. Rape is natural, but it's not good. Driving cars is unnatural, but it's good. Therefore, the state of naturality is irrelevant to whether something is "good" or "bad".

As we have come to tell ourselves that we should be concerned about all humans, not just our "packs", and we can determine that it is wrong to be racist.

I guess you didn't get what I meant. It's natural to feel it. But the whole concept of race is non existent. It is genetically irrelevant.

But here's the thing. For example as you mentioned with the tribes. The bible is hypocritical at that point. Let's look at the beginning. It was 2 people. So humanity comes from that. And then when we talk scientifically. It's all about adaption. I remember one of my science books talked about the comparisons of squirrels and flying ones. The reason one was different was because it began to adapt to it's environment. Same thing can be said about humans. The point is that our species is connected. We didn't began different.
